Three miles to the northeast of Bristol is the town of Fishponds. Despite having a busy high street, the neighbourhood is largely residential.

The high street is having quite a resurgence and is now home to a number of renowned supermarkets along with greengrocers, numerous shops, and services such as The Fishponds Tap pub, The Crafty Egg and Fishponds Flowers. You can find almost anything you require here. Excellent children’s play areas may be found in Oldbury Court, while nearby Eastville Park has a huge boating lake and several important wildlife reserves.
The A432 is a significant road that passes immediately through Fishponds. It offers direct access to the M32 in one direction and the Bristol Ring Road in the other. There are also numerous bus services available. Cycling facilities are available on the Bristol to Bath Railway Path, which almost parallels the main route.
